A 3–4 month maternity nurse role supporting a family in Stockholm, Sweden, providing expert 24-hour care for newborn twins while working alongside experienced parents in a nurturing home. This booking suited to an experienced Maternity Nurse with a proven background caring for twins. The family are seeking a knowledgeable, evidence-based professional who can confidently support newborn development while respecting the parents’ responsive and nurturing approach to the early months. A welcoming family based in Stockholm are looking to appoint an experienced Maternity Nurse to support them following the arrival of their second and third children, twins due in March 2027. The role will commence on 1st March, ahead of the planned induction, and will continue for approximately three to four months. The family have a two-year-old son and have an established parenting style centred around responsive care, gentle routines and encouraging independence. They are looking for a Maternity Nurse who can provide expert guidance while following the babies’ natural cues, supporting breastfeeding, offering evidence-based advice and helping establish healthy foundations during the newborn period. Motor development is particularly important to the family, and they would value a candidate with a genuine interest in early physical development and age-appropriate stimulation. The ideal candidate will be organised, self-sufficient and proactive, taking responsibility for all nursery duties while working collaboratively with the parents. The family enjoy an active lifestyle and would welcome someone who enjoys walking and being outdoors and brings a warm, trustworthy and professional approach to the role. EU Passport essential Job Specification Provide 24-hour care for newborn twins. Support the mother throughout her breastfeeding journey. Offer evidence-based guidance on newborn care, feeding and sleep. Follow the babies’ natural cues and promote responsive, baby-led care. Encourage healthy motor development through age-appropriate activities and positioning. Assist with establishing flexible routines as the babies develop. Undertake all nursery duties, including maintaining the nursery, organising baby clothing and equipment, and preparing feeding items. Keep accurate records of feeding, sleeping and developmental progress where required. Work collaboratively with the parents to provide consistent and professional support. Respect and support the family’s parenting philosophy while sharing practical advice and guidance. Candidate Requirements Proven experience working as a Maternity Nurse with newborn twins. Strong knowledge of evidence-based newborn care and current best practice. Confident supporting breastfeeding mothers. Professional, organised and able to work independently. Warm, nurturing and trustworthy with excellent communication skills. Genuine interest in early childhood and motor development. Comfortable living in a household with a dog. EU passport essential.
