Description
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Turnaround Consultant to work closely with our CEO and CFO during a critical transitional phase. The ideal candidate will have extensive global experience in larger, compliance-focused corporations, with expertise in PLC-like reporting and shareholder management.
This role involves conducting a comprehensive assessment and providing ongoing support based on the recommendations. Additionally, the consultant will play a pivotal role in capturing and transferring knowledge before the CFO's departure in May.
This is an interim role based in Cambridge
• Assessment and Recommendation: Conduct a thorough evaluation of our current processes and systems. Validate findings and present actionable recommendations to the CEO and CFO.
• Ongoing Support: Provide ongoing support and advice based on the recommendations made during the assessment phase.
• Knowledge Capture/Transfer: Assist in capturing and transferring crucial knowledge before the CFO's departure.
• Global Operations: Show flexibility and willingness to travel to our global offices as needed.
• Shareholder Management: Demonstrate strong shareholder management skills with the ability to present comfortably to senior stakeholders and conduct business reviews.
• CEO Rapport and Influence: Build a strong rapport with the new CEO and provide advice and influence when necessary.
• Recruitment Assistance: Assist in interviewing for a new CFO and advise on potential candidate introductions.
• Team Leadership: Provide continuity and motivation to the existing team amidst organizational changes.
• System and Process Improvements: Embed and improve systems and processes, with a focus on enhancing our operations in the U.S.
• Proven turnaround experience, preferably at the executive level.
• Extensive global experience in a larger, compliance-driven corporation.
• Strong skills in shareholder management and executive presentation.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with high-level executives and influence decision-making.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
• Proven track record of leading teams through transitional periods.
• Experience in system and process improvements, particularly in the U.S. context.
