Swap Data Repository (SDR) projects are response to the commitment by G20 countries to address risk related to the OTC derivative markets. Regulatory Reporting team is a core control component of SDR project / process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and completeness of swap reporting. Regulatory Reporting team exist in 3 locations - Birmingham, Jacksonville and Manila supporting both global (Dodd Frank Swap Reporting, EMIR) and regional SDRs (MAS, HKMA, ASIC, etc). Its key objectives are to: • Monitor exception report and allocate to the relevant team. Track resolution and escalate where necessary • Perform control checks to see if trades are reported timely, accurately and completely • Work collaboratively within own team and in partnership across regions, to establish controls within a risk management framework across all asset classes • Pro-actively look out for any potential causes for future audit issues • Participate in the SDR projects and contribute to the successful roll out • Support ad-hoc queries from Front Office, Clients and other teams in GTO Your Key Responsibilities This role is an APAC member of Global Regulatory Reporting Team responsible for ensuring effective operation and ongoing evolution of the Regulatory Reporting control function. The role will: • Support Korea KRX Transaction Reporting activities, including daily monitoring, exception analysis, break resolution, and timely escalation of potential reporting issues. • Apply Global Markets product knowledge to understand underlying transaction flows, booking models, lifecycle events, and reporting obligations relevant to KRX Transaction Reporting. • Perform control checks to ensure regulatory reports are complete, accurate, and submitted within required timelines. • Investigate reporting exceptions by analysing trade data, booking details, system feeds, reference data, and reconciliation outputs. • Coordinate issue resolution with Operations, Technology, Compliance, and Front Office stakeholders. • Identify data quality issues, recurring breaks, false exceptions, and control gaps, and support remediation activities. • Participate in regulatory reporting change initiatives and system/process enhancements, including business requirement reviews, test planning, UAT, and implementation activities. • Support ad-hoc requests relating to Korea regulatory reporting and Global Markets transaction reporting requirements. • Drive process improvement, automation, and standardisation initiatives to strengthen reporting controls and operational efficiency. Your Skills and Experience • Strong understanding of Global Markets products, preferably across FX, Rates, Credit, and OTC Derivatives. •  Good understanding of trade lifecycle events, trade booking practices, settlement flows, and front-to-back operational processes. •  Experience in Regulatory Reporting, Transaction Reporting, Trade Support, Middle Office, Product Control, or related Global Markets Operations functions. •  Knowledge of regulatory reporting control frameworks, including completeness, accuracy, timeliness, exception management and reconciliations. • Ability to analyse reporting breaks, investigate root causes, and drive issue resolution across multiple stakeholders. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong risk and control mindset with the ability to identify potential reporting breaches and escalate issues appropriately. • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively across Business, Operations, Technology, and Compliance teams in a regional/global environment. • Experience supporting process improvement, automation, change initiatives, UAT, or data quality remediation projects. • Advanced Excel and MS Office skills. • Preferably with trade Support experience / Global Market Operations/ Korean language capability and familiarity with Korean regulatory requirements would be advantageous How we’ll support you • Training and development to help you excel in your career. • Flexible working to assist you balance your personal priorities. • Coaching and support from experts in your team • A culture of continuous learning to aid progression. • A range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your needs.
