Description Full-Time | $25–$30/hour | Set Weekly Schedule | 8am–5:30pm (1-hour break) Ready for a role that offers stability and variety? Dental Associates of Connecticut is seeking a Full-Time Traveling Dental Assistant to support our clinical teams across multiple established locations. This is a structured, predictable travel position — you’ll always know your schedule in advance. What Makes This Role Unique • Set weekly schedule — you’ll know your location in advance • One location per day (no bouncing between offices mid-day) • Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with 1-hour break • Competitive $30–$32/hour • 401(k) with match, health insurance, PTO & more • Supportive, organized, team-centered environment Current Weekly Schedule (subject to change) • Monday – New Milford 8am - 5:30pm • Tuesday – Newtown 8am - 5:30pm • Wednesday – Danbury 8am - 5:30pm • Thursday – Alternates between New Milford 8am - 4:30pm and Darien 7:45am - 3:30pm • Friday – Danbury 8am - 4:30pm You must be comfortable traveling between New Milford, Newtown, Danbury, and Darien What You’ll Do • Greet and seat patients • Act as a liaison between the patient and doctor • Review schedules and anticipate the doctor’s needs • Set up trays according to daily charts • Assist chairside using four-handed dentistry • Take x-rays as needed • Enter treatment plans • Take alginates, pour and trim models • Clean and disinfect operatories after each patient • Package and sterilize instruments • Keep operatories fully stocked Requirements What We’re Looking For • High school diploma or GED • Dental assisting experience • X-Ray & ICE Certification • Superior customer service skills • Strong work ethic and teamwork mindset • Willingness to learn and grow • Reliable transportation and ability to commute to assigned locations • Dentrix Ascend experience (a plus) • A desire to be part of a family-oriented team focused on delivering the best patient experience possible If you enjoy variety, independence, and being part of a collaborative, growing organization — this role offers stability without monotony.
