Description
Remote, international (preference for Argentina, Costa Rica, Brazil, or Colombia). Contract, full-time freelance.The RoleThis position works at the intersection of travelers and a global network of travel providers, responsible for assessing and processing incoming travel inquiries via email/messaging, phone, and online. The specialist builds trusted relationships with travelers, maximizes lead potential through analytics, and drives loyalty and repeat bookings among high-value clients.This is a fully remote, freelance contractor role with a 5-day workweek that includes rotating weekend shifts. Initial training (3–4 weeks) takes place Monday through Friday. All work is conducted in English.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional customer service by taking ownership of traveler inquiries and acting as a trusted advisor via phone, live chat, messages, and email.Build long-lasting relationships with discerning luxury clients to exceed their expectations and strengthen their confidence in the service.Drive inquiry conversion by demonstrating expertise in consultation, product knowledge, and service benefits, including phone and video calls.Collaborate cross-functionally with Partnerships, Product, and Marketing teams to integrate best practices and resolve client experience issues.Partner with Care Team leadership on projects and initiatives to develop innovative solutions.Leverage data, analytics, and technology to set new standards for customer success.Provide consultation to move general inquiries into destination-specific trip requests.Coach and mentor team members as needed.Required Skills and ExperienceMinimum 8+ years of experience in the travel industry, focused on luxury tour or hotel sales or operations (e.g., tour leader, tour director, hotel front desk, client relations, or guest services).Passionate about travel, with extensive international travel experience and curiosity about new destinations.Strong customer service skills and comfort with telephone-based client work.Excellent fluency in spoken and written English.Cheerful, confident, and adaptable to varied communication styles and traveler behaviors.Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with willingness to go the extra mile in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn new software; proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays.Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.What We OfferRemote work with flexible hours supporting work-life balance.Innovative, fast-paced, and collaborative culture valuing diverse perspectives.Annual learning and development stipend.Two company-sponsored international business trips per year.
