Description
A leading drilling services company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a hands-on Transformation Lead (CTO) for a short-term, high-impact transformation project 3–6 months with potential extension, to drive a high impact operational transformation and scale the transformation model across other industrial subsidiaries under their holding company. Requirements Key Responsibilities: Lead and implement transformation initiatives, converting the business plan into an actionable initiative register with KPIs, owners, and timelines. Lead execution of 50+ operational initiatives (logistics, hiring, HSE, ERP, finance, rig deployment). Set up and manage a Transformation Office, including initiative tracking and KPI dashboards. Establish governance, reporting mechanisms, and weekly progress reviews with board-level visibility. Work closely with CEO of the company, reporting directly and actively managing delivery. Work in a lean model, but with deep hands-on involvement and leadership accountability. Qualification: 10+ years of experience in leading transformations within industrial sectors (e.g. mining, energy, manufacturing, logistics). Strong track record in transformation office setup, performance management, and operational execution. Experience in post-investment or post-acquisition transformation is highly preferred. Ability to work cross-functionally and lead in fast-paced, evolving environments. Available for on-site work in Jeddah, 4 days/week during the project period. Arabic speaker and relevant sector experience preferred; however, execution ability is key. Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is a plus.
