THE ROLE An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Quarry Operatives based at our sand & gravel quarries. The successful candidates should be customer focused, reliable, well organised and be able to work well as part of a team in a busy site environment. Our Sand & Gravel quarries supply sand and gravel internally for the production of asphalt and concrete mixes as well as externally to the construction market. Locations: • Loanleven, Perth PH1 3NF WHY JOIN OUR TEAM? KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Operate and maintain quarry machinery and equipment. • Ensure quality control of materials and adherence to safety protocols. • Load customer and internal vehicles with product. • Maintaining a high level of housekeeping standards. • General day to day maintenance on site. • Maintaining a high standard of health and safety measures on site. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Commitment to safety health and environmental standards. • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach. • Be prepared to progress and develop within our business through training and gaining qualifications. • A willingness to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment. • Willingness to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business, and has a flexible approach to working hours. • Be in possession of a full driving license.
