Role Purpose
To develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours required to progress into a Sales Manager role. The Trainee Agricultural Sales Person supports the Sales Team with customer engagement, product learning, demonstrations, and administrative tasks while building a strong understanding of agricultural machinery and customer needs.
Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
• Build foundational product knowledge across tractors, telehandlers, implements, and associated machinery.
• Support Sales Managers with customer enquiries, quotations, and follow‑up communication.
• Assist with machinery demonstrations, handovers, and on‑farm visits.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and support preparation of sales documentation.
• Contribute to the organisation of open days, shows, working demos, and promotional events.
• Ensure machinery is presented to a high standard for customer interactions.
• Work collaboratively with Parts, Service, and Administration teams to support the full customer experience.
• Participate in manufacturer and internal training programmes.
• Undertake general duties to support the Sales Department as required.

• Confident communicator with a willingness to learn.
• Good IT skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Experience in customer‑facing roles.
• Practical farming or machinery experience.
• Mechanical understanding.
