Description
Workster is partnering with a global investment management firm to recruit a Trading Operations Specialist for its office in Sofia, Bulgaria. This role sits at the center of the trade lifecycle, working closely with Trading, Fund Accounting, Technology, and Risk teams. The position focuses primarily on Global Credit strategies, with particular emphasis on credit derivatives and bank loans, within a dynamic and fast-paced investment environment. Your Role Manage all trade lifecycle events across multiple asset classes, with a focus on credit derivatives and bank loans Support swap resets, trade bookings, corporate action processing, and P&L inquiries Perform daily reconciliations between internal PMS systems and fund administrators Oversee operational processes related to bank debt, including both cash and swap loans Manage ClearPar timelines and coordinate loan closings within ClearPar Set up and maintain loan activity in Enfusion, including PIKs and paydowns Review daily transaction, position, and cash reconciliations for TRS and loan products Identify process gaps and collaborate with internal and external teams to design and implement improvements Support senior management by streamlining workflows and minimizing operational risk Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external counterparties Conduct thorough due diligence to resolve issues promptly and avoid financial or reputational risk Your Qualifications 4–7 years of experience in Trading Operations or a related function Exposure to bank loans and complex credit instruments Experience with Geneva, Enfusion, ClearPar, or WSO preferred Bachelor’s degree required Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management and reconciliation processes The Offer Very Competitive total compensation Exposure to complex credit strategies within a global investment platform High level of cross-functional interaction with Trading, Risk, and Finance teams Opportunity to improve and shape operational processes Dynamic, performance-driven environment with long-term growth potential
