You’ll work alongside Lisa Lennon, a highly regarded IP partner who leads the trademarks and registered IP Practice. Lisa leads a collaborative, high-performing team that values initiative, precision and strategic thinking. Some of the IP team’s recent matters include: • Representing Lavazza in Federal Court trademark litigation brought by the owners of Vittoria coffee. • Advising Self Care in a successful High Court appeal concerning trademark and consumer law claims brought by the makers of Botox. • Managing trademark portfolios and brand protection strategies for major clients including Starbucks, Shopify, Coca-Cola, NRMA and Warner Media • Advising clients in the tech, energy and pro bono sectors on branding, enforcement and IP strategy, including in emerging areas like renewables and carbon trading. In the role you will work on a broad range of Commercial IP and Trademark matters including: • Trade mark, design, and domain name clearance, prosecution and enforcement • IP aspects of commercial agreements, including software and technology licensing • IP and IT due diligence for corporate transactions • General IP advisory and brand strategy work Please submit your interest via our career’s website with a resume.
