About the role As Trade Activation Manager, you will enhance the visibility, engagement, and market presence of the Lavazza brand in Sweden across all selling channels, with a particular focus on shopper and trade activation. You will build brand awareness, conversion, and sales growth through impactful shopper marketing initiatives that connect consumers with the brand at the point of purchase and build long-term loyalty. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Brand Activation Manager and cross-functional teams to develop and execute consistent, comprehensive trade marketing initiatives across channels. Key responsibilities • Develop and execute shopper and trade activation plans tailored to local market preferences and aligned with business objectives, marketing priorities, and global strategy across Retail, Away-from-home, and e-commerce channels. • Manage assortment strategy by defining the optimal assortment by channel and key customer, evaluating product opportunities, and supporting distribution plans that contribute to brand and category growth together with Sales. • Create engaging shopper experiences including in-store activations, product demonstrations, sampling, contests, events, display management, POS materials, and merchandising initiatives in collaboration with external agencies. • Grow customer and distributor partnerships together with Sales to enhance brand visibility, secure the right store placement, support joint marketing initiatives, and develop effective selling stories. • Monitor market and category performance by tracking industry trends, shopper preferences, customer performance, and the competitive landscape, including monthly sell-out tracking using Nielsen data and ad hoc analyses. • Manage the local BTL budget for shopper and trade marketing initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation and return on investment. • Collaborate cross-functionally with local Sales, Finance, cluster functions, and HQ teams to ensure alignment with global brand strategy and business goals. • Manage or support cluster-level projects across Sweden, Finland, and the Baltic countries to identify synergies, share best practices, and develop scalable activation opportunities. About you • University degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field. • Minimum 3 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Shopper Marketing, or Sales, preferably within a multinational FMCG company. • Solid understanding of local market dynamics, channels, customer structures, especially within Retail, and sell-in and sell-out dynamics. • Effective analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into business decisions. • Solid financial understanding, including experience working with P&L statements. • High proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, and Nielsen Discovery. • Fluency in Swedish and English. • Well-developed networking and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams. • Willingness to travel occasionally to Italy or other cluster countries.
