Job Summary:
Provides support in the planning, execution, and monitoring of trade marketing programs aimed at driving product visibility, conversion, and sell-through in retail and distribution channels. This role assists in the implementation of trade promotions, POP (point-of-purchase) material distribution, trade partner coordination, and performance tracking to ensure alignment with the sales and brand objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Program Support:
Assist in the rollout of trade promotions, discounts, bundling activities, and in-store merchandising programs across dealers, retailers, and other trade partners.
Material Preparation and Deployment:
Coordinate the printing, packing, and distribution of merchandising materials (e.g., posters, banners, price tags, wobblers, display stands) to ensure timely availability in trade outlets.
Sales Team Coordination:
Liaise with sales teams for trade promo requirements, requests for POP materials, and dealer support needs.
Documentation and Tracking:
Maintain accurate records of trade promo mechanics, partner participation, promo claims, and actual results. Assist in processing promotional claims and documentation.
Market Monitoring:
Monitor store execution of trade activities, take photos, gather competitor information, and report findings to Trade Marketing or Brand team.
Data Support and Reporting:
Compile sales data, dealer feedback, and activity performance for analysis. Assist in preparing presentations or summary reports for evaluations and business reviews.
Inventory Management:
Track stocks of trade-related materials and recommend reorder levels or replenishment plans.
Other Tasks:
Provide administrative support to the Trade Marketing team including coordination with suppliers, scheduling of events, and internal routing of approvals.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
Preferably with 1–2 years of experience in trade marketing, sales support, or merchandising coordination. Fresh graduates with strong internship experience may also be considered.
Skills:
Organized and detail-oriented
Good written and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of retail/trade channels
Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
