Want to be part of a small but growing team at an award-winning English wine producer? We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and committed individuals to join us at Greyfriars Vineyard as a Tour Guide and Events Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a rapidly growing area of our business. What you will do: • Following in-house training and guidance, execute the successful delivery of vineyard tours and tastings. • Provide visitors at our Cellar Door Shop with a first-class retail experience. • Assist with wine-by-the-glass sales and tasting events at our Tasting Room and Outdoor Wine Bar. This will include managing bookings, serving visitors and the setup, delivery, and clean-up of exciting and informative tasting events. • Maintain high levels of presentation and cleanliness at all times at the Cellar Door, Tasting Room and outdoor hosting spaces. • Respond to customer inquiries and assist with managing online bookings. • Support the DTC Manager as required, including assisting at vineyard events and outside events such as farmer’s markets, food festivals and stockist tastings, alongside maintaining shop/bar stock levels and fulfilling retail orders. • Support the Commercial Manager as required, including fulfilling trade orders and deliveries and hosting tastings and other events at our trade stockists. Who we are looking for: • Someone who can provide a superb hospitality experience and customer service and will take pride in representing Greyfriars in this customer-facing role. • Someone who is comfortable working in a varied role that can often be physically demanding. • Someone that likes being around people and enjoys communicating. • Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and independently. • Prior experience/knowledge of wine is preferred but not essential. • Having a sense of humour and a good work ethic is essential in this job. • Outstanding oral communication and quick-thinking skills are essential in this job. • A full driving licence is preferred. • All applicants should have the right to work in the UK. The bottom line: • Pay: Hourly rate in line with industry standards. • Staff discount on our wines + staff wine. • Hours: Part time Contract. A minimum of 20 hours guaranteed, hours typically on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays. • Three-month probationary period. • Start Date: August 2026
