Tooling Assembly & Inspection Technician North Nottingham £32,000 – £34,000 + Excellent Overtime rates Permanent Are you someone who enjoys precision, process and getting things right first time? We’re recruiting for a Tooling Assembly & Inspection Technician to join a specialist engineering team supporting the preparation, inspection and verification of tooling used within a highly regulated aerospace manufacturing environment. This role would suit someone who takes genuine pride in quality, accuracy and following established procedures. It is not a design or development role; instead, it is focused on ensuring tooling is prepared, assembled, inspected and documented to the highest standard every time. What You’ll Be Doing • Assembling and preparing tooling for production use. • Conducting detailed inspections and quality checks. • Using measuring equipment and inspection tools. • Verifying tooling condition and identifying defects or wear. • Following technical instructions and documented procedures. • Maintaining accurate traceability and production records. • Supporting continuous compliance with quality standards. • Working closely with production and engineering teams.
