About This Role We're on the hunt for a passionate Toddler Teacher to join our team. Our ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with young children and brings a nurturing approach to their role. As a Toddler Teacher, you'll be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters the growth and well-being of our children. You'll work closely with our Director, co-teachers, and parents to develop curriculum that caters to each child's unique needs and abilities. What You'll Do • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our children • Establish a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development • Supervise daily activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom • Regularly observe and assess children's development, adjusting your approach as needed to ensure their continued growth • Build strong relationships with families through open communication, regular updates, and collaborative partnerships • Conduct bi-annual parent-teacher conferences to discuss children's progress and set goals for future development • Employ Conscious Discipline techniques to promote positive behaviors and reinforce healthy habits in our children • Perform physical tasks such as lifting children and/or equipment, and engage in standing, sitting, and bending for extended periods • Demonstrate a warm and supportive attitude towards children, providing a sense of security and belonging • Be adaptable and responsive to changes within the program, prioritizing the needs of our children and families • Perform additional tasks as required to ensure the smooth operation of the program • Able and willing to have fun with the children!
