What You'll Do As our Ticketing & Reservations Officer, you will: Deliver Exceptional Travel Solutions Handle flight reservations, ticket issuance, revalidation, reissuance, cancellations, refunds, and exchanges for both domestic and international travel. Source the most efficient and cost-effective flight options using GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport . Arrange hotel accommodations, airport transfers, travel insurance, visa support services, and other travel-related requirements. Build comprehensive travel itineraries tailored to clients' schedules, budgets, and preferences. Create Outstanding Client Experiences Serve as a trusted travel advisor for corporate, government, diplomatic, and individual clients. Respond promptly to travel enquiries via phone, email, and in person. Provide expert guidance on airline policies, visa requirements, passport validity, transit regulations, baggage policies, and destination-specific travel requirements. Build lasting client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery. Manage Complex Ticketing Operations Interpret and apply airline fare rules, ticket conditions, taxes, penalties, and change policies accurately. Resolve schedule changes, flight disruptions, missed connections, and emergency travel requests with speed and professionalism. Ensure compliance with airline, IATA, and company ticketing policies. Ensure Accuracy & Financial Integrity Verify payments before ticket issuance and maintain accurate booking records. Prepare daily sales reports, ticket reconciliation reports, and supporting financial documentation. Maintain complete and accurate travel documentation while ensuring compliance with internal quality standards. Requirements What We're Looking For We're looking for professionals who combine technical expertise with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or HND in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline. Experience Minimum of 2–4 years' hands-on experience in ticketing and reservations within a reputable travel management company, airline, or travel agency. Professional Certifications (Preferred) Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport certification. IATA Foundation or Consultant Certification will be an added advantage. Skills & Competencies Successful candidates will demonstrate: Strong proficiency in Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport GDS. Excellent understanding of airline fare construction and ticketing rules. Knowledge of international travel regulations and visa requirements. Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
