The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco is seeking a Thoracic Radiologist for a faculty position. The selected candidate will be appointed at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, in-Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests. The selected candidate should demonstrate a commitment to building a strong academic career and excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. The candidate will supervise trainees and provide outstanding teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows at a top radiology training program in the country. To accomplish this, the department seeks candidates who have clinical expertise in all areas of cardiac and thoracic imaging. The selected candidate will provide clinical services primarily at the UCSF Moffitt/Long Hospital but may also include clinical work at other UCSF Health and UCSF affiliated sites. The UCSF Department of Radiology & Biomedical Imaging offers faculty salaries that are highly competitive with the national radiology benchmarks. The minimum base salary range for this position is $154,700-$405,900 and is used in the calculations of retirement benefits. This position includes membership in the [health sciences compensation plan] ( https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf ), which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. The total negotiated salary, including minimum base salary, for full-time UCSF Thoracic Radiologists, exclusive of additional clinical bonuses, ranges from $479,000 to $575,000.
