Description
Do you want responsibility, meaningful involvement, and the opportunity to see your efforts result in better solutions? Have you discovered that quality assurance and testing are where your strengths and interests lie? Would you like to see your ideas and input put into practice? At Keylane, we offer a professionally challenging role in an ambitious organization with a strong focus on collaboration and quality. The focal point of your new role will be Keylane’s proprietary pension core system, Plexus. As a Test Specialist, you will contribute both to enhancing the solution for existing customers and to implementing it for new ones. You will play a key role in ensuring that we build the right solution from the outset and identify and resolve defects early in the development process. Key about the position: The first step is understanding and documenting our customers’ diverse requirements and translating them into specifications that developers can work from. While Business Analysts are responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, you will be an important partner in ensuring that testing considerations are incorporated from the very beginning. Your primary focus will be testing new functionality and features in close collaboration with the development team and their testers. You will participate in a variety of testing activities, including test analysis, design, and execution. Naturally, you will communicate your findings to developers so they can address defects and continuously improve the overall quality of the solution. Your main responsibilities will include: Learning the Plexus platform and gaining an understanding of its architecture, dependencies, and business logic. Contributing to test planning and independently performing test analysis, design, and execution. Creating and maintaining test documentation in TestRail and presenting test results. Helping ensure compliance with Keylane’s overall test strategy and testing framework. Participating in the qualification of customer requirements and ensuring that testing considerations are embedded in requirement specifications, in close collaboration with Business Analysts and the Test Manager. Supporting the technical team in the correct setup and configuration of test environments. Assisting the Test Manager with Jira administration and traceability to ensure proper end-to-end documentation and auditability. A Team Player with experience in test analysis and execution You have chosen testing as your professional specialization, and structure, attention to detail, and analytical thinking are natural strengths. You are able to navigate complex environments, identify what matters most, and translate requirements into focused and effective testing activities. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you enjoy sharing your knowledge in ways that create value across different roles and disciplines. You communicate clearly and constructively with developers, business stakeholders, and other colleagues. Our testing team is currently evolving, and you are motivated by the opportunity to help shape its processes, ways of working, and overall quality. You are comfortable taking initiative, championing testing best practices, and helping elevate the testing discipline across the organization. You thrive on responsibility and see opportunities to contribute to the continued development and maturity of our testing capabilities. Requirements Experience within the pension and retirement industry, including functional testing of pension solutions. Most likely an IT-related educational background. Testing certifications such as ISTQB Foundation Level, along with the motivation to continue developing your testing expertise. Experience creating and maintaining end-to-end traceability and bidirectional test documentation. Strong communication skills in both Danish and English, written as well as spoken. Experience with non-functional testing (
