We are looking for a Test and Product Development Engineer to Husqvarna Construction in Jönköping. Do you want to help shape the future of diamond tools used by professionals around the world? Working closely with colleagues in R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Sales, you will contribute to the development and industrialization of new products. About the Role: As a Test and Product Development Engineer, you will contribute to the development of Husqvarna's diamond tools, from concept and prototype testing to production implementation. A large part of the role involves hands-on testing and evaluation of products, generating insights that drive product performance and innovation. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will combine practical testing, product development, and manufacturing support to help deliver high-quality products and continuous improvements. Key Responsibilities: Develop and evaluate new diamond tool solutions together with project teams. Perform hands-on testing and evaluation of prototypes and existing products in both laboratory and real-world environments. Establish and improve test methods and product evaluation processes. Coordinate prototype manufacturing and support the introduction of new products into production. Assess manufacturing risks and support validation of materials and suppliers. Collaborate with production sites to ensure successful product implementation and data transfer. Drive quality improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and process optimization. Analyze test results and recommend design improvements. Who You Are You are a collaborative and solution-oriented engineer who enjoys turning challenges into practical solutions. Qualifications We see that you have: Degree in Engineering, Product Development, or equivalent practical experience. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Driver’s license.
