Description
North West Netherlands
Life. Unlimited. At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.
Are you a commercially driven sales professional who thrives in the operating theatre environment? As a Territory Manager within our Sports Medicine business, you will take ownership of a strategically important territory across North-East Netherlands, building strong partnerships with surgeons, operating theatre teams, procurement stakeholders and hospital decision makers. This is a highly visible, field based role where your clinical credibility, commercial mindset and ability to create long term customer relationships will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes and driving business growth.
What will you be doing?
In this role, your working week will be spent where the impact happens most: in hospitals and operating theatres. You will partner closely with surgeons and OR teams, supporting procedures, conducting product evaluations and demonstrating the value of our Sports Medicine portfolio in real clinical settings. Alongside your field activities, you will analyse market opportunities across your territory, identify growth potential, build relationships with key stakeholders and develop strategic account plans that drive sustainable business success. You will also manage opportunities, tenders and business forecasts to ensure a strong and predictable sales pipeline.
What will you need to be successful?
Success in this role comes from combining clinical confidence with strong commercial execution. You will be someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, is motivated by achieving results and can work autonomously within a dynamic territory.
• Minimum 3 years of successful field sales experience within a similar healthcare or medical device environment
• Mandatory operating theatre experience with the confidence to support surgical cases and product evaluations
• Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills across clinical and non clinical audiences
• Fluent Dutch and English communication skills with the ability to travel extensively across the territory and hold a valid driving licence
The anticipated base compensation range for this position is €65,250 - €98,000 annually.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on objective, job related factors including (but not limited to) relevant skills, qualifications, and experience, scope and responsibilities of the role, geographic location, and internal equity considerations. Compensation decisions are made using consistent and gender neutral criteria, in line with applicable pay transparency laws. This role has been evaluated within our internal job architecture and mapped to a defined pay band to ensure consistency and fairness.
