Air Products is seeking a Terminal Supervisor for our La Salle, IL facility who demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and team development. This role is responsible for leading terminal distribution operations, supporting a safety-first culture, and ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable delivery of products while overseeing drivers, maintenance personnel, and day-to-day terminal activities. Required Skills • Strong background in terminal/distribution operations with a thorough understanding of DOT regulations and safety compliance. • Proven leadership experience in managing and developing teams in a safety-sensitive environment. • Demonstrated commitment to safety excellence with experience implementing and sustaining safety programs. • Ability to lead, coach, and mentor personnel through observations, training, safety meetings, and performance management. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions. • Experience working closely with logistics, operations, maintenance, and customer-facing teams. • Proficiency with computer systems and business applications. • Knowledge of distribution processes, inventory management, and delivery operations. • Familiarity with equipment maintenance and vehicle reliability programs. • Self-motivated, results-oriented professional with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to conduct customer site safety assessments and support continuous improvement initiatives. • Ability to meet physical requirements, including climbing ladders and stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in a high-noise industrial environment. • Ability to satisfy on-call and call-in requirements as needed. Minimum Hiring Requirements • High School Diploma or GED required. • Minimum of 5 years of relevant terminal, distribution, logistics, transportation, or operations leadership experience preferred. • Strong focus on safety leadership and regulatory compliance. • Experience supervising drivers, transportation personnel, or frontline operations employees. • Willingness and ability to travel monthly to conduct driver safety observations and support operational activities. • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record required. • Ability to work Monday through Friday and provide on-call support during off-hours as needed. This is the range that we reasonably expect to pay for this position as individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
