Position Title: Temporary Burris Athletic Coach Compensation: $500-$6,0000, based on coaching role Department: Burris Laboratory School - Temp A Start Date: 07/20/2026 About this opportunity: Burris Laboratory School is seeking part-time, temporary athletic coaches to support and mentor students on various teams. Hours will include evenings and some weekends. Compensation is determined by specific role and responsibilities and normal range is $500.00-$6000.00 for the season. Candidates for this position must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. What you'll do and what you'll bring: Position function : Provide coaching and training to student athletes. Duties/Responsibilities: • Coaching and Training: Develop and implement training programs • Student Development : Help students establish personal and team goals. • Game Management : Plan game strategies, select players • Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe environment for athletes, adhere to all school and safety standards, complete required safety training and implement necessary. • Promote sportsmanship among athletes. • Administrative Tasks: record keeping and reporting to school administrators and athletic director. Minimum Education and Experience : • High school diploma or equivalent • Knowledge of applicable sport • Must be able to effectively communicate to students, parents, officials, school administration.
