Role Overview Evaluate and annotate music produced by generative AI systems in Telugu, using your professional music production and audio engineering experience to judge lyrical quality, vocal performance, musicality, and production. You will compare model outputs, score training data quality, and provide detailed, taxonomy-based song annotations to help improve AI music models. Key Responsibilities • Listen to and evaluate AI-generated music and lyrics in Telugu, and score outputs against quality standards. • Rate pairs of AI-generated samples head-to-head on musicality, creativity, adherence to the prompt, vocal quality, and production or mix quality, using audio-engineering terminology. • Score the quality of musical training data used by models. • Annotate songs in detail, including genre and sub-genre classification, song structure, and vocal and instrumental characteristics, following a structured taxonomy. • Write music in Telugu when required for evaluation tasks. • Follow directions provided in English, and complete assigned evaluation tasks accurately and on time. Qualifications • Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or sound mixer. • Demonstrable understanding of musical performance, music theory, and lyric writing. • College degree in music, with coursework or training in performance, theory, and lyrics preferred. • Past experience writing lyrical music in Telugu. • Native or near-native proficiency in Telugu, and native or near-native proficiency in English, sufficient to follow written and spoken directions in English. Work Terms • Location: Remote. • Engagement type: Paid hourly work. • Start date: Immediate. • Duration: Up to 6 months. • Commitment: Part-time, minimum 10 hours per week. Compensation Hourly rate range: 10.80 to 19.44 per hour.
