Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Teller Collector to join our team. The role involves receiving customer payments, processing cash and cheque transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing a professional and efficient service. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, numerate and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Receive and process cheque and electronic payments from customers in line with company procedures. Issue official receipts and ensure correct accounting of daily takings. prepare banking deposits in accordance with internal controls. Handle customer enquiries related to payments, balances and basic account information, escalating complex issues to supervisors. Maintain accurate and organised payment records, logs and supporting documentation. Adhere to security and cash-handling policies to protect company assets and reduce risk. Support audit and reconciliation activities by providing required documentation and explanations. Assist with other front-of-house tasks as required, including directing customers and supporting colleagues during busy periods. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer experience. Requirements Minimum secondary education; diploma or certificate in finance, business or related subject preferred. 1–3 years’ UAE experience in cash handling, cashiering or teller role preferred. Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail. Good communication skills and a customer-focused manner. Ability to work reliably, maintain confidentiality and follow strict cash-handling procedures. Proficient with basic computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) or banking software. Integrity, punctuality and a proactive attitude to problem solving.
