As a Technical Writer – Parts and Operations Manuals, you will play a key role in the user experience of our equipment by creating accurate, visual, and safety-focused documentation. If you enjoy working closely with engineering teams, the shop floor, and the field to make technical information accessible, this role is for you! Duties and responsibilities • Act as a first responder for troubleshooting as well as for technical requests from customers and the sales team, both remotely and in person, using the Zendesk call management system • Test parts under warranty • Assist with the start-up of automated systems when required • Help write service bulletins • Train users on products or equipment as needed (service school, etc.) • Visit farms as needed to perform testing and/or troubleshooting • Flexible schedule with accommodating office hours • Time bank program • Friday afternoons off year-round • Up to 5 weeks of vacation per year, including 3 weeks starting at hire • Group insurance • 13 paid statutory holidays • Telemedicine service • Employer-contributed retirement plan Your profile • Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to simplify complex mechanical concepts. • Proficiency in SolidWorks for creating exploded views and working with assemblies. • Strong attention to detail, rigor, and excellent organizational skills. • Excellent written communication skills in both French and English. • Understanding of machine safety standards and best practices in technical documentation (IEC/ISO, ANSI, CSA, OSHA). • Strong mechanical aptitude. Qualifications • DEP in Industrial Drafting or equivalent. • Experience in manual writing (asset). • Bilingualism in French and English required (written). • Knowledge of ERP and PDM systems (asset).
