How you will make a difference: We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Analyst with strong knowledge in SQL Server, database administration, and Windows-based application environments. In this role, you will provide end‑to‑end database management support, troubleshoot complex system issues, and ensure the stability, performance, and security of mission‑critical applications. Success in this role also depends on the ability to collaborate effectively with IT teams, business stakeholders, and the broader user community to deliver reliable, high‑quality technical solutions. Must‑Have Skills & Experience • 5+ years Windows & SQL experience — Hands‑on support of Windows Server environments and Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or later • Deep SQL Server knowledge — Strong understanding of database structures, security models, roles, and permission management • Client–server & distributed systems — Solid knowledge of client‑server architectures and distributed database environments • Security & compliance familiarity — Understanding of server application security policies and compliance best practices • Application support expertise — Experience supporting software applications at a technical level with awareness of functional workflows • SQL performance optimization — Ability to optimize SQL Server performance through indexing, query tuning, and resource monitoring • SDLC exposure — Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, development, testing, and deployment • Database installation & troubleshooting — Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting databases in multi‑server or multi‑application environments Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines • Skilled in documenting, designing, and implementing database procedures and operational workflows • Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on timely resolution • Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and committed to continuous learning • Passion for tackling complex technical challenges and adopting new database technologies Nice‑to‑Have Skills • Experience with Web Applications • Knowledge of Retail Systems • Familiarity with IBMi (AS/400) systems What we offer: · Competitive Compensation Package · Health and Dental Benefits Plan · Paid Sick Days · Employee Discount · Tuition Reimbursement · Ongoing Training and Development · Career Advancement Opportunities · Being part of an amazing, supportive and collaborative team YM Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
