Description
Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description About the Role We   seek   a Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) who gets inside our customers' purification processes and drives real resin adoption and conversion. In this role,   you'll   register our chromatography resins into the downstream processes of Korea's leading biopharmaceutical manufacturers and CDMOs, then scale them across clinical and commercial pipelines to build durable, recurring revenue.   Your impact is measured not by how well you present, but by whether the customer   actually changes   their process. Key Responsibilities 1) Lead resin conversion and adoption projects end-to-end • Drive resin conversion projects across every purification mode — Protein A/affinity, ion exchange (IEX), hydrophobic interaction (HIC), multimodal/mixed-mode, and multi-column chromatography ( MCC) —   from opportunity identification   through to   registration. • Design and execute the full cycle with the customer: technical evaluation → technical support → pricing → process adaptation   → commercial adoption. • Propose purification solutions for emerging chemistries, including bispecifics ,  complexed   mAbs, and next-generation modalities — not just standard mAb platforms. • Develop and execute account-level conversion strategies to accelerate resin adoption and long-term business growth. 2) Build technically grounded value propositions • Move beyond catalog   selling:   lower the customer's conversion barrier by packaging performance data, DBC comparisons, documentation, and supply reliability into a compelling technical case. • Translate a wide range of customer needs into the process and cost advantages of our resins. • Support commercial discussions by providing technical justification that strengthens customer confidence and accelerates conversion. 3) Build cross-functional relationships   within   the customer • Serve as the technical bridge between process development (PD) and manufacturing (MSAT). Even the strongest proposal is meaningless if the manufacturing floor rejects it, so building MSAT's technical familiarity and confidence to adopt is decisive. • Partner closely with the sales team to jointly build and execute account-level conversion roadmaps. • Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Technical teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and drive successful project execution. 4) Provide market and technical insight • Read the technical shifts in the purification market — new modalities, competitive resin trends — and feed them back into account strategy. • Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and Global Technical teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and drive successful project execution. What Success Looks Like • Registering   new resins into clinical and commercial pipelines at your   accounts, and   growing   each one into a seed of recurring revenue. • Being recognized by customer MSAT and PD teams as a partner they can technically trust and rely on. • Proactively removing technical conversion risk so the sales team can focus on pricing and commercial negotiation. • Building a strong pipeline of qualified conversion opportunities and contributing to sustainable revenue growth. Required Qualifications • Master's degree (or above) in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Biology, or   a related   Life Sciences discipline.   Bachelor's   degree with equivalent industry experience will also be considered. • 3+ years of experience in downstream process development, purification, bioprocess development, MSAT, manufacturing, technical support, or related roles within the biopharmaceutical industry. • Strong understanding of chromatography principles and downstream purification processes. • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer engagement skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. • Business-level English communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with HTS screening (automated platforms such as Tecan and   Robocolumn ). • Experience purifying mAb platform processes, bispecifics ,  complexed   mAbs, or next-generation modalities. • GMP manufacturing/MSAT experience, or large-scale column packing experience. • An established network across Korea's major biopharmaceutical manufacturers and CDMOs. • Experience gained within biopharmaceutical manufacturers, CDMOs, or chromatography solution providers is highly valued .
