Description
Technical Sales Management – Customer Focus, Commercial Drive and Cross-Functional Excellence To drive our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Technical Sales Manager to join our KAM & Business Acquisition team . This position is designed for a strong customer-facing professional who can connect commercial opportunities with technical feasibility, operational capabilities and business objectives. As Technical Sales Manager, you will act as the primary interface between customers and WIK Group throughout the full acquisition and project lifecycle — from initial customer inquiry and RFQ through quotation, project coordination and serial production launch. You will be responsible for developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and coordinating the internal resources needed to create competitive, feasible and profitable solutions. While maintaining a solid understanding of products, applications and manufacturing processes, you will closely collaborate with our System Experts, Corporate Technical Office, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain and Finance teams. Your role will be central in ensuring that customer expectations are clearly understood, translated into internal action plans and aligned with WIK’s strategic, technical and commercial goals. Key responsibilities Customer Relationship & Business Development You will serve as the primary customer contact throughout the acquisition and project lifecycle. Building strong and trustful relationships with customer stakeholders at operational, technical and management levels will be a key part of your role. You will identify, develop and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective customer accounts. In doing so, you will gain a deep understanding of customer strategies, requirements, decision-making processes and market needs. In close alignment with internal stakeholders, you will also support contract negotiations and commercial agreements, always ensuring that customer expectations and company objectives are balanced in a sustainable and profitable way. RFQ & Opportunity Management You will lead RFQ and quotation activities from receipt to customer submission. This includes coordinating all cross-functional input required for quotations, business proposals and customer presentations. You will ensure that customer requirements are clearly defined, documented and communicated internally. You will monitor RFQ timelines, deliverables and approval processes, while supporting the development of competitive commercial proposals aligned with customer expectations and business targets. Your contribution will be essential in turning customer inquiries into structured, commercially attractive and technically feasible opportunities. Internal Coordination & Project Leadership You will act as the central coordination point between customers and internal stakeholders. This means mobilizing and aligning resources from Corporate Technical Office, R&D, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and other relevant functions. You will translate customer requirements into clear internal action plans and work packages, ensuring that the right experts are involved at the right time. A key part of your mission will be to create alignment between commercial objectives, technical feasibility, operational capabilities and project timelines — enabling WIK to deliver strong solutions and excellent customer experiences. Market & Business Intelligence You will actively monitor market developments, customer trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies. Your insights will support benchmarking, market analysis and strategic business planning.
