Description
Your responsibilities:
• Lead and develop NPD projects in EMEA in accordance with our development process on all technical aspects for design and development
• Responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines
• Lead tradeoff discussions and conversations around risk management with cross-functional teams
• Drive design of project to meet market driven design guides and fulfill cost, timing, reliability, and manufacturing requirements
• Analyze, evaluate and select from design execution alternatives to best meet specification objectives and implement designs into mass production
• Accountable for technical elements of project execution including integration of complicated components and assemblies, material selection, packaging and safety, regulatory and standards compliance
• Conduct design and safety reviews as needed to gain necessary approvals for product development phase progressions
• Schedules, develops agendas, facilitates and documents project meetings, tracks project schedules to ensure adherence to timelines
• Regularly makes presentations of project status
Your profile:
• Bachelor's degree or further technical education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Relevant experience in project management and product development
• Understanding of technical processes in engineering like product development and technical documentation
• Ideally relevant professional practice in safety footwear industry
• Good command of English language, another European language is an advantage
• Advanced knowledge in MS Office application
• Extensive Knowledge in CAD systems
• Willingness to travel as required for business (approx. 30 %)
