Description
ABOUT CHARTA HEALTH In an industry where the focus should rightly be on delivering quality care to patients, healthcare providers remain burdened by the complexities of non-clinical operations. Charta is changing that. We're building the operating system for modern healthcare organizations. Our AI platform streamlines critical workflows across revenue cycle, clinical operations, and administrative functions, helping providers and payers operate more efficiently and deliver better patient care. Backed by Bain Capital Ventures, Charta is on a mission to make every healthcare dollar accountable and every chart accurate, reimagining healthcare infrastructure from the ground up. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Operational Excellence: Own and continually evolve the "operating system" for our engineering org — the cadences, tooling, and sources of truth (Linear, program reviews) that keep work legible across every pod. - Strategic Execution: Define and drive the execution framework for high-stakes technical roadmaps, giving teams the context to make decentralized decisions without slowing down. - Orchestration: Manage the technical roadmap from early-stage discovery to full-scale deployment, coordinating the launch of new AI capabilities across the platform. - Customer Delivery: Support the operating layer of customer implementations across multiple concurrent accounts — track delivery health across pods, help scope engineering work so it maps cleanly to delivery expectations, and surface at-risk go-lives before they slip. - Program Support: Help stand up the cross-functional programs that keep delivery healthy — evaluation, onboarding, quality — and keep them running. - Communication & Context: Act as the source of truth for program health. Translate complex technical and clinical status into actionable updates that give both leadership and individual contributors clarity. YOU'D BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU HAVE: - Professional Background: 4+ years in technical program management or engineering operations, ideally within high-growth technology environments. - Tech-Fluency: You don't need a CS degree, but you have deep experience working alongside software engineers. You're comfortable navigating technical environments — APIs, development workflows, data pipelines, and AI/ML-driven systems — well enough to keep projects aligned and ask the right questions. - Domain Adaptability: You don't need a healthcare background, but you're energized by learning a regulated, high-stakes domain — clinical documentation, medical coding, payer rules — deeply enough to spot when something looks wrong before it ships. - Delivery & Operational Instinct: You've run delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams and can feel when one is about to slip before it's officially off-track. - Radical Candor: You give and receive direct, honest feedback with senior leadership and engineering peers to keep initiatives on track. - Judgment & Ownership: You thrive in ambiguity, make high-quality decisions quickly, and take full accountability for outcomes. - Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence without authority across pods and give leadership a clear read on program health. WHAT WE OFFER: - Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision. - Equity & growth opportunities in a fast-growing, innovative tech startup. - Ongoing professional development and access to cutting-edge AI and healthcare tools. - Lively, in-person work culture at our SF Headquarters. - $120,000 – $160,000 USD depending on experience + Equity + Benefits. - Annual performance-based bonus up to 30%.
