As a production worker, you will work with a team on the production of stair elevators. You make sure that metal tubes are hung, sprayed and packaged correctly. This work is physical, so you must be strong enough to hang the pipes in the machines. You will learn to work with machines and tools and make sure everything is neat and ready for the next step. • Hanging metal tubes for powder coating • Powder coating the tubes (the tubes are sprayed with a protective coating) • Packaging the tubes after coating so that they are shipped safely • Ensuring that everything is ready on time and in the correct manner for transportation or further production • Collaborate with your colleagues to get work done well and quickly Where will you work You’ll be working in Krimpen aan den IJssel at a company that manufactures stairlifts. This company is one of the largest in the Netherlands in the stairlift industry. They manufacture stairlifts that are custom-made for each client. You’ll help by hanging the metal tubes for the stairlifts, powder-coating them (to make them stronger), and packing them for transport. You’ll be part of a hardworking and friendly team, where everyone helps each other get the job done quickly and well. Together, you ensure that high-quality stair elevators leave the factory! Who are you? You have technical interest and want to work with machines and materials. You have no problem with physical work and enjoy being hands-on. You are also flexible and enjoy working shifts.
