Our client, an SME based in Nairobi is looking to recruit a HR Officer to provide strategic leadership and direction for the Human Resources function across all its business lines spanning Liquor distribution, Safaricom Business and Pharma consultancy. The role focuses on aligning HR strategies with the organization’s business objectives, driving talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and fostering a strong organizational culture. The Head of HR will play a critical role in promoting operational excellence and ensuring employee satisfaction and retention. • Project Planning and Execution: • Technical Oversight: • Team Leadership: • Risk Management and Problem Solving: • Budget and Cost Management: • Quality Control and Assurance: • Stakeholder Coordination: • Compliance and Safety: • Reporting and Documentation: • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field. • Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years in a technical or leadership role. • Strong knowledge of construction standards, regulations, and best practices. • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, preferably in the real estate or general contracting sector. • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Project management expertise, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. • Technical proficiency in construction design, engineering, and execution. • Strong leadership and team management capabilities. • Risk management and decision-making skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
