Description
Teaching Assistant to Qualified Teacher Status
TiQ Programme – Salaried route from Teaching Assistant to Qualified Teacher Status – Starting in September 2018
Teach in Qualified (TiQ) is a 6 phase initial teacher training programme which takes graduates from Teaching Assistant to Qualified Teacher Status through a course of the gradual increase in responsibilities and a series of training days alongside a cohort of graduates also on our Teaching Assistant to QTS programme.
We are currently working with a fantastic primary school in Slough who are interested in taking on a number of graduates to start on the TiQ Programme as a Teaching Assistant and work their way up to achieving QTS at the end of the course. Your transition from Teaching Assistant to Qualified Teacher will be supported by both the school and our specialist tutors who will teach you all of the underpinning theory to make your move from Teaching Assistant to independent teaching as simple as possible!
If you’d like to start this Teaching Assistant to QTS programme that involves no course fees and a full-time salary, then all you need to have is:
• Honours Degree (2:2 or above)
• Cs or above in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths, English & Science
• Experience as a Primary Teaching Assistant, tutor or mentor
