Location: Staffordshire Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only Salary: Dependent on experience and qualifications Join Our Team We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school community from September. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential and making a positive difference in the classroom. Working closely with class teachers and the wider school team, you will provide high-quality support to pupils across the curriculum, helping to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities • Support pupils' learning in the classroom and through small group or one-to-one interventions. • Assist teachers with planning, preparing, and delivering engaging learning activities. • Promote pupils' independence, confidence, and wellbeing. • Support children with additional learning needs where required. • Help to maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment. • Assist with the preparation of learning resources and classroom displays. • Contribute to the wider life of the school and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents. We Are Looking For Someone Who: • Has experience of working with children in an educational setting (desirable but not essential). • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic. • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families. • Is organised, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team. • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
