About the Role:
Justteachers is recruiting a dedicated KS1 Teacher for a long-term role in a primary school in Halifax, starting in September. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum.
• Support pupils’ development in phonics, reading, writing and maths.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress to inform teaching.
• Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to meet pupil needs.
Pre-requisites:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching KS1 in a UK primary school.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.
• Ability to provide two education-based references.
