Description
HRK is looking for a Tax Manager (or Senior Manager) who is not only technically proficient but also passionate about leveraging technology to streamline processes, drive efficiencies, and lead teams in a digital-first environment. Responsibilities • Manage and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns. • Lead tax engagements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. • Collaborate with partners and clients to provide proactive tax planning and advisory services. • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff and seniors. • Drive utilization and optimization of CCH Axcess Tax software, including workflow, document management, and cloud-based features. • Champion the use of innovative technology solutions across the tax function, including AI-enabled tools, data analytics, and automation platforms. • Stay current with changes in tax law and best practices in tax technology. Qualifications • CPA license required. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field. • Minimum of 5 years of public accounting tax experience. • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. • Strong experience with CCH Axcess and its ecosystem (Workbench, Document, Engagement, etc.) preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, tech-savvy, collaborative environment. • In person preferred but open to hybrid/remote for the right candidate. In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Some contracts require United States citizenship for employment.
