Job Summary We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our Tax Team. The Tax group works with wealth advisors to provide tax compliance services to high-net-worth clients. This role offers strong work-life balance, a supportive environment, and direct client interaction without audit, assurance, or business development responsibilities. As a member of the Tax Team, the Tax Manager is responsible for leading client relationships, preparing and reviewing income tax returns, projections, and analyses. The ideal candidate has experience in individual and entity tax preparation and review, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Essential Job Functions Prepare, review, and sign tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and businesses Create quarterly estimates and projections Communicate clearly with clients regarding income tax return delivery Perform tax research Respond accurately and promptly to tax questions, estimates, projections, and analyses Work with tax staff to respond to tax notices and correspondence Stay current on tax law changes and communicate impacts to clients Mentor Senior Tax Associates, Tax Associates, and Tax Support Specialists Perform other assigned duties Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Minimum 5+ years of public accounting or equivalent experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Strong tax code knowledge and accounting skills CPA and/or EA certification required Master's degree in Tax is a plus Experience with CCH, Axcess, Workflow, Practice, and SafeSend is a plus Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent communication and time-management skills Detail-oriented approach Work Schedule This role requires availability Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM, with Saturdays as needed during tax season. Additional hours may occasionally be required to meet deadlines. Working Conditions The position may be based in a professional office or dedicated home office workspace free from interruptions. Basic technology needs are provided. The role involves routine sitting and standing, with no heavy lifting over 10 lbs.
