An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven Management Incentives tax professional to join a dynamic and specialist advisory team. This team focuses on providing expert guidance on the tax and commercial aspects of management and employee incentive plans, particularly in the context of business transactions such as acquisitions, sales, and the implementation of new incentive structures. Their clients include leading investors and senior executives in private equity-backed businesses. The Role The successful candidate will take the lead on complex, fast-paced projects, providing both UK and global tax advice. Typical responsibilities include: • Advising investors and management teams on the implementation and operation of management incentive plans, equity resets, and mid-cycle adjustments. • Supporting exit planning processes, including sales to new investors, trade buyers, or IPO preparations, and conducting tax due diligence. • Leading teams to deliver bespoke, technically robust advice while fostering development and coaching within the team. • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and networks with key intermediaries. • Driving business development initiatives, including identifying opportunities, contributing to proposals, and attending industry events.
