Job Title: Tax Consultant Location: Lagos Industry: HR Work mode: Hybrid Job Summary We are seeking a Tax Consultant to manage the organization’s tax compliance, filings, and advisory functions while providing support for basic accounting activities. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and assist in maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and file VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other statutory tax returns. * Ensure timely tax remittances and compliance with regulatory requirements. * Liaise with tax authorities and support tax audits. * Monitor tax law changes and advise management accordingly. * Assist with account reconciliations and financial reporting. * Maintain accurate tax and accounting records. * Support annual audits and other finance-related activities. Requirements * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in taxation and accounting. * Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
