We are seeking a tax-focused accounting professional to join an established public accounting firm. This opportunity is ideal for someone with approximately 3–5 years of experience who enjoys working on business tax engagements, complex individual returns, and building long-term client relationships. The ideal candidate has significantly more tax experience than audit or assurance and is looking to grow within a collaborative environment that offers exposure to a diverse client base, challenging tax work, and opportunities for professional development. This position offers the chance to work closely with experienced professionals while developing technical expertise and taking on increasing responsibility. Responsibilities Prepare and review business tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and S corporations Prepare complex individual tax returns for executives and business owners Research tax issues and assist with tax planning strategies Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and information requests Identify tax-saving opportunities and planning recommendations Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations Work closely with partners on client engagements Assist with special tax projects and consulting engagements Requirements 3–5 years of public accounting experience with a strong tax focus Significantly more tax experience than audit or assurance Experience preparing business and complex individual tax returns Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations Excellent communication and client relationship skills CPA preferred but not required Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Must be able to work on-site in Allentown, PA Benefits 100% employer-paid employee health insurance SIMPLE retirement plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 3% Overtime beyond the first 60 hours annually converts into additional PTO Employees commonly earn 4–6 weeks of vacation through PTO accumulation Collaborative small-firm environment Direct access to partners and firm leadership Long-term career growth opportunities
