We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our team. Main duties will include:- • Preparation of financial accounts for sole traders; partnerships and limited companies • Dealing will all aspects of tax and VAT and adhering to strict deadlines • Preparing tax returns for individuals; partnerships and limited companies • Finalising accounts and tax returns • Liaising and meeting with clients to discuss results and tax issues • Reviewing and finalising work produced by more junior members of the team The candidate Must have:- • Strong organisational and time management skills • Good communication skills • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills • Strong IT skills including Microsoft office; QuickBooks; Xero; Sage • At least 3 years experience at a senior level in an accountancy practice • Extensive practical knowledge of all main taxes • Ability to work alone or as part of a team Qualifications Must be educated to at least A Level standard and have at least 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above (Maths and English must be at least grade B or above).
