About the role: As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you won't just be filling seats - you will be the first point of contact for candidates and play a pivotal role in driving our growth by finding and attracting top talent to Financeit. Reporting to the Senior Talent Partner, you will own the day-to-day, full-cycle recruitment process across departments. This is a hands-on role where your energy, exceptional organization skills, and passion for candidate experience will directly shape our team and company culture.  What you'll be doing: Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for roles across the organization (e.g. Sales, Operations, Engineering) Candidate Experience Champion: Ensure every application has a positive, transparent, and engaging experience from their initial application to the offer and onboarding stage.  Market Mapping & Creative Sourcing: Research our competitors and target companies to identify high-performing talent aligned with our team and company goals.  Recruitment Marketing: Actively promote and engage passive talent through creative channels to build a diverse pipeline for current and future openings.  Hiring Manager Collaboration: Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs, assist in drafting job postings, and supporting them through the interview process.  ATS & Data Maintenance: Own the integrity of our Applicant Tracking System - Workable, ensuring applicant records are up to date and tracking key hiring metrics.  People Team Projects: Assist with or lead exciting initiatives on our roadmap, such as employer branding campaigns and optimizing our onboarding experience.  Who you are: A Relationship Builder: You love connecting with people and naturally build trust with candidates and internal hiring managers.  Highly Organized: You can seamlessly manage multiple open positions at once without letting details slip through the crack.  Action-Oriented: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by finding the perfect match for open roles, and have a knack for pushing things forward.  An Expert Communicator: You can guide conversations with hiring teams to support the best hiring decisions and are clear and timely with updates. Requirements Proven Track Record: You have 2-3 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, ideally within a high-growth or fast-paced environment. Systems Mindset: You are proficient with learning and using ATS platforms and HRIS systems, and you know how to leverage them to create a seamless candidate experience (e.g. Workable, BambooHR, Slack, Google Workspace). Strong Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to pitch our culture and role impact effectively.  Good Judgement: Ability to handle sensitive candidate information and hiring manager feedback with confidentiality and professionalism.  Benefits Winner of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, twice.
