System Design Engineer – Electromobility Driveline and HIL Testing About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Design Engineer to lead the development and testing of our complete electromobility driveline, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Your primary responsibility will be the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing for the main controller in the electromobility system. This role requires a collaborative mindset, technical leadership, and a drive to innovate and refine processes, ensuring seamless integration between design and testing workflows. Key Responsibilities HIL Testing : Identify test needs, develop, document, and perform tests using the HIL rig for the main controller in the electromobility system. Process Development : Enhance workflows from design in SE tools to HIL testing, improving efficiency and quality. Collaboration : Work closely with virtual testing teams, HIL hardware teams, and global resources to synchronize efforts and share knowledge. System Design : Develop electrical and electronic systems by defining component interfaces, system behaviors, and ensuring compliance with system requirements. Leadership and Delivery : Lead technical teams, integrate contributions from others, and ensure high-quality system readiness before release. Continuous Improvement : Drive concept investigations, explore alternative solutions, and support the development of technical roadmaps and system architecture strategies. Qualifications Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering or similar relevant field. 8+ years of experience in system design engineering, HIL testing, or related areas. Strong knowledge of electromobility systems, BESS, and SE tools. Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex group tasks. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
