Description
Belmont Lavan Ltd is looking for an experienced System Architect to join our team on a 3-month contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the architecture of complex systems to meet business requirements and ensure scalability, security, and performance. Key Responsibilities: Develop and document system architecture designs that align with business and technical needs. Collaborate with stakeholders including developers, product managers, and operations teams to ensure unified vision and execution. Support core banking technology transformation initiatives, ensuring robust and compliant architectures. Provide coaching and guidance on key architectural principles, non-functional requirements, and best practices. Contribute to architectural documentation such as System Design Documents (SDD) and Test Readiness Review Documents (TRRD). Assess and recommend improvements in IT infrastructure and platform capabilities. Requirements Requirements: Proven experience as a System Architect, preferably within the banking or financial services sector. Strong knowledge of core banking systems and related architecture. Experience with integration architectures including message queuing technologies such as IBM MQ and Kafka. Familiarity with IBM Mainframe environments and transition strategies to midrange platforms is a plus. Knowledge of Temenos T24/Transact platform is advantageous. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. Ability to define and manage non-functional requirements and support root cause analysis. Benefits Flexible working arrangements (Hybrid/Remote depending on role).
