Job Title: Swim Instructor Department: Aquatics Reports to: Director, Children's Aquatic Programs FLSA Status: Non-Exempt BROAD DESCRIPTION OF POSITION The Aquatics Department at The Jewish Community Center in Manhattan serves approximately 1,200 students every week, who are involved in group lessons (parent and child, after school, teen/tween and adult), private lessons. The JCC is looking for an upbeat, friendly instructor with a desire to share a love of swim + safety to children. Classes vary from parent child groups (6 months old-3 years old), toddler drop-off classes, school age learn to swim + private lessons for all ages. Qualification Required: • Must have CPR certification, WSI (preferred), Lifeguard experience, and non-profits work environments. Details: • Rate: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour (varies with experience) • (varies with experience) • Vaccination required • Opportunity for immediate employment for the Spring, Summer and Fall programs, additional hours + advancement .
