Role Overview Provide expert Swedish language skills to ensure content is accurate, natural, and culturally appropriate for Swedish-speaking audiences. In this contract, remote role you will apply linguistic judgment to translations, transcreations, and content localization that support AI training and evaluation work and cross-functional product teams. Key Responsibilities • Deliver accurate translations, transcreations, and language adaptations across a variety of content types. • Review, edit, and proofread Swedish materials to ensure linguistic excellence and consistency with brand voice and tone. • Support development and localization of communication materials targeted to Swedish audiences. • Collaborate with project managers, content creators, and subject matter experts to meet project objectives and deadlines. • Provide linguistic recommendations and serve as the authority on Swedish language queries and terminology for the customer team. • Keep current with Swedish language usage, trends, and cultural nuances to maintain high content quality. Qualifications • Native or near-native proficiency in Swedish, with advanced written and verbal skills. • Demonstrated expertise in linguistic analysis and language adaptation. • Excellent attention to detail, with strong focus on accuracy and tone. • Proven ability to apply Swedish language conventions across diverse content types. • Strong organizational and time-management skills, able to handle multiple projects concurrently. • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote, collaborative environment. • Passion for language quality and cultural authenticity. • Preferred: degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field. • Preferred: experience working in multicultural or international teams. • Preferred: familiarity with computer-assisted translation tools and language quality assurance platforms. Work Terms • Role type: Contract. • Work location: Remote, must be based in the United States or Canada. • Hours and schedule: Project-based assignments, schedule will vary by project. • Engagement depends on available projects and team needs. Compensation • Pay rate: $10.00 to $30.00 per hour.
