Looking to launch or grow your surveying career? Atwell is seeking a Survey Field Technician to support residential, commercial, and mixed-use land development projects throughout the Phoenix metro area.
This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced survey professionals, gain hands-on field experience, and contribute to projects that help drive the growth of one of the nation's most active development markets.
What You'll Do
Assist survey crews on residential, commercial, and land development projects throughout the Greater Phoenix area.
Perform field activities including topographic surveys, construction staking, boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, and as-built surveys.
Operate and maintain modern survey equipment safely and efficiently.
Support construction layout, monument placement, field measurements, and data collection.
Work closely with Crew Chiefs and project teams to deliver accurate, high-quality survey data.
Develop technical skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of land development projects.
What We're Looking For
Required
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license.
Basic understanding of mathematics, geometry, algebra, and trigonometry.
Ability to work outdoors and travel to project sites throughout the region.
Preferred
Previous survey experience or internship experience.
Familiarity with boundary, ALTA, topographic, or construction surveys.
CST Certification (Level I, II, or III).
