You will lead   accurate , compliant, and   timely   payroll operations for a large, multi-state workforce while overseeing and developing the team responsible for delivering them. In addition to payroll, you will partner with HR Operations on a variety of projects that will simplify and enhance   the employee   experience. Responsibilities/Expectations: • Lead s   end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring pay is   accurate , compliant, and on time across all payroll cycles • Lead s   and contribute s   to HR systems or cross functional projects reaching beyond payroll • Maintain s   compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, tax, and wage-and-hour requirements, along with internal controls and audit standards • I dentif ies   and execute s   solutions to simplify, modernize, and/or increase the competitiveness of our pay practices • Support s   the configuration, testing and implementation of payroll and time-tracking system enhancements that improve the employee experience • Streamline s   processes, strengthen controls, and reduce manual work through automation and use of AI or other advancements • Coach es , cross-train s , and develop s   team members, focusing on high performance, service-orientation, and business continuity • Other duties as assigned Education/Years of Experience: • R equired:   Bachelor's Degree in Business , Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent experience; 4 years of Progressive payroll, program management, and/or leadership Other Requirements: • Working   understanding of   multi-state payroll, payroll tax, and wage-and-hour compliance • Demonstrated success leading projects and process improvements beyond core payroll • Strong analytical skills, with comfort working across systems, data, and reporting • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Exhibits excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and   deems   safety an utmost priority • Demonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes Shift/Work Hours: • Hybrid Schedule (4 days in office and 1 day remote) LI-KM2 About Tulsa: Our corporate headquarters is located in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, the 2nd largest city in Oklahoma and the 47th most populous in the U.S. Tulsa is known as the Mother of "The Mother Road" - Route 66, and boasts impressive art deco architecture, the #1 city park in the U.S. (The Gathering Place) and is a great venue for live music.
