As a Support Worker , you'll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by delivering compassionate, high quality care and supporting them to live as independently and fulfillingly as possible. What You'll Be Doing As part of our supportive care team, you will: Provide high-quality, person-centred care and emotional support to residents living with dementia and nursing care needs. Encourage residents to maintain their independence while respecting their individual choices, preferences, and dignity. Support residents with personal care, daily living activities, and meaningful social engagement. Reinforce and encourage existing life skills and promote confidence and wellbeing. Become a Key Worker for designated residents, helping to plan, coordinate, and review their personalised care. Develop positive relationships with families, healthcare professionals, and other agencies involved in residents' care. Accurately maintain care records and update personalised care plans using our digital care system. Safely administer or assist with medication in accordance with company policies and training. Participate in resident meetings, helping to promote choice and inclusion. Attend regular supervision sessions, team meetings, and ongoing training to support your professional development. Work flexibly to meet the needs of the home while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
