Austin Dean Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join a well-established Day Care Centre in Milton Keynes .
Our client's Day Services are split into two specialist areas, providing high-quality support to:
• Adults with Learning Disabilities
• Older People

The Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide personalised support that promotes independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing. You will work closely with individuals, encouraging them to participate in meaningful activities while ensuring they receive the highest standard of care.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
• Promoting independence, choice and social inclusion.
• Supporting individuals with daily living activities and personal care where required.
• Assisting with recreational, educational and therapeutic activities.
• Building positive, professional relationships with service users, families and colleagues.
• Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns appropriately.
• Working in accordance with safeguarding procedures, health and safety requirements and organisational policies.
About You
We are looking for individuals who are:

• Committed to delivering outstanding person-centred care.
Previous experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, older people or vulnerable adults is desirable, although full training may be provided for the right candidate.
Requirements
• Right to work in the UK.
• At least 12 months previous experience as a Support Worker in the UK
• Mandatory Training
• Enhanced DBS
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible and reliable approach to work.
• Willingness to undertake mandatory training.
• Ability to work in line with safeguarding and person-centred care principles.
